![]() Gerontology OnlineGerontology Online is a web-based continuing education program for health care professionals who wish to enhance their knowledge and skills in the field of aging. Program participants have opportunities to learn about:
Each course within Gerontology Online is eight weeks. This program is offered by Mather LifeWays Institute on Aging in collaboration with Rush University College of Nursing. Development of the program was partially supported by funds from the Bureau of Health Professionals, the Health Resources and Services Administration, and the Department of Health and Human Services.
Cost: $159 / participant / class or $859 / participant / full program Classes can be accessed 24/7 This self-paced program must be completed within one year, and participants have access to their instructor via online discussion for the first 8 weeks. Participants will read course materials, watch videos, communicate online with their instructor, and finish each lesson with a small quiz. Participants only need an active email account, Internet access, and a reliable computer.
